How timely, coming right in the wake of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (sp?). Implementation of "Sarbox" by executive mandate could turn many American IT shops inside-out from stress and impossible deadlines. DeMarco, I'm sure, provides a plan for attaining a higher level of discipline while keeping the software assembly line rolling. Tom is an expert writer who has provided invaluable mentorship for my own writing projects. His style is always engaging and easy to understand from any level on a management or technical career path. I haven't read the book yet, but based on his previous work I'm looking forward both to reading it and sharing its revelations with my management.
